Great A’Tuin – He or she is the turtle who moves through space in the Discworld universe. On his or her back are 4 elephants. On the backs of the elephants rests the Disc itself.

Mister Safe Way – Called upon by Mrs Gogol.

Lady Bon Anna – Called upon by Mrs Gogol.

Hotaloga Andrews – Called upon by Mrs Gogol.

Stride Wide Man – Called upon by Mrs Gogol.

Seriph of Al-Ybi – Cursed into turning things he touched into Glod (the dwarf).

Glod – A small dwarf duplicated about 2000 times by a Seriph.

Desiderata Hollow – Fairy godmother who watched over Emberella Saturday until she died. Desiderata, that is.

Lady Lilith de Tempscire (Lily Weatherwax) – Liked a good story. FYI, in French, temps = weather and cire = wax.

Death – An anthrpomorphic personification comprised of a skeleton, covered in a black robe, and holding a scythe (or a sword, for kings). He communicates in CAPTIAL LETTERS without the quotation marks.

Granny Weatherwax – The head witch (among equals), especially in Bad Ass country. Given name: Esmerelda. Esme, for short, but only to her closest friends.

Mr Chert – Troll who runs a sawmill in Sour Water.

Albert Hurker – “The Poacher” who transferred Desiderata’s wand to Magrat.

Gammer Brevis – Discussed the ownership of Desiderata’s cottage with Esme.

Old Mother (Gammer) Dismass – Elderly witch who doesn’t get out much.

Nanny (Gytha) Ogg – A prominent and popular (especially with gentlemen) witch who had 15 children.

Granny Hopliss – Deceased. There had been no one to take over for her at that time.

Mrs Singe – Deceased. Apparently a similar situation to that of Granny Hopliss.

Gammer (Mabel) Peavey – Died at the age of 119. See Granny Hopliss.

Magrat Garlick – The youngest of the coven of three, with Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg.

Simplicity Garlick – Magrat’s mother.

Araminta Garlick – Magrat’s granny.

Yolande Garlick – Magrat’s aunt.

Shane Ogg, Our – Once brought back a “sex object” from “foreign parts”.

Millie Hipwood (Wyrd Sisters) / Hopgood (Witches Abroad) / Hopwood (Maskerade) – According to Nanny Ogg, she “ditch-delivered” a baby girl who turned out fine. (See Macbeth for details.) Assuming the last names are typos or unrecognized changes as all live in Slice.

Gertie Simmons – Witch who had a severe squint.

Grand Master Lobsang Dibbler – Author of the Path of the Scorpion which Magrat attempted to learn.

Mrs Marietta Cosmopolite – Of 3 Quirm Street, Ankh-Morpork. Dress-maker (seamstress) in charge of costumes in Holy Wood.

Ella Saturday (Emberella, Embers) – She “muste NOTTE marry the prins.”

Great-Aunt Sophie – Related to Nanny Ogg. 3 days, 4 hours, and 6 minutes after she died, her wardrobe fell down the stairs.

Darron Ogg, Our – His eldest son got sick from too much beer at Nanny Ogg’s party. Nanny had good parties. (Also spelled Darren. Assuming only one exists.)

Jason Ogg, Our – One of Nanny Ogg’s many children. Nanny betimes babbysits for Jason’s youngest.

Agatha – Probably Nanny Ogg’s niece.

Mr Vernissage – Made Nanny Ogg’s outlandish hat.

Greebo – Nanny Ogg’s cat. He will mate with any unsuspecting female.

Mrs Erzulie Gogol – Voodoo witch who lives just outside Genua.

Duc, The – Of Genua. Formerly a frog.

Compte Guy de Yoyo – (Also Kompt) Discovered the 2nd largest waterfall on the Disc.

Mrs Pleasant – Cook at the castle in Genua. Aided Mrs Gogol.

Devereaux – Innkeeper who was shut up for not being fat and not having a big red face.

Goodie Whemper – A research witch – maysherestinpeace – who preceded Magrat Garlick in Mad Stoat. (That’s a place.)

Lagro te Kabona – Innkeeper who had an encounter with 3 witches during the last Thing with the Bulls.

Fate – One of the game-playing gods in Dunmanifestin.

Mr Frank – Lost at Cripple Mr Onion to Granny Weatherwax.

Verence, the Fool – Becomes King Verence II when his half brother, Tomjon, decides not to be king of Lancre.

Chickenwire Hopkins – Once threw a rock at Esme. His barns did not fare well afterwards.

Black Aliss Demurrage – The quintessential witch, the type which most present-day witches now try to avoid being compared to. Nanny Plumb’s teacher.

Deliria Skibbly – Once took Nanny Ogg to see Black Aliss.

Sumpkins – A lodger.

Shaker Wistley – Of Creel Springs. Collected black button boots.

Ronald the Third – Unpleasant monarch of Lancre.

Mr Wilkins – Per a letter from Nanny Ogg to Jason and everyone, once had to have a pond dug for him after an encounter with Esme.

Mrs Wilkins – She says her husband still goes swimming a lot.

Sara – One of Mrs Pleasant’s sub-cooks.

Legba – Mrs Gogol’s dark and dangerous cockerel. Greebo stays away from him.

Baron Saturday – Deposed ruler of Genua and father of Ella. Now a zombie.

Jimmy – An underfootman.

Mr Travis – Senior coachman.

Beryl Ogg – Nanny’s sister.

Lord Henry Gleet – Announced at the Samedi Nuit Mort Ball.

Lady Gleet – Announced (with her husband) at the Samedi Nuit Mort Ball.

Honourable Douglass Incessant, The – Announced at the Samedi Nuit Mort Ball.

Lady Volentia D’ Arrangement – Announced at the Samedi Nuit Mort Ball. Was about the same size and shape as Granny Weatherwax.

Captain de Vere – Of the Genua Palace Guard. Murdered Baron Saturday.

Sir Roger the Coverley – Actually Colonel Moutarde but Granny Weatherwax initially call Moutarde by the name of the dance they are about to do. It’s complicated.

Colonel Moutarde – Granny’s actual dance partner Samedi Nuit Mort Ball.

Count Casanunda (Casanunder) – Dwarf known as the Disc’s greatest lover.
