This is a relatively short list of significant things you’ll find in The Truth, listed in alphabetical order. The chronological version is here.
Akina TR-10 – Fancy iconograph. Dual imp with telescopic seat and big shiny lever.
Ankh-Morpork Inquirer, The – Created by Ronald Carney. Intended to take down The Times.
Ankh-Morpork Times, The – Newspaper started by William de Worde.
Book of Om, The – Owned by Constable Visit. Five inches thick.
Clang, slip, chop, rhino, skunk, triplin, floats, double honk, gongers, slack, smudge – If you can’t find any slab or honk, try these.
Disorganizer Mk II – Originally owned by Mr. Pin and Mr. Tulip. Later inherited by William de Worde.
Honk – Worse than slab. Cut with ground glass.
Iconograph – Twoflower the Tourists is the first one known to bring one to Ankh-Morpork. You’d call it a camera, but I bet your camera doesn’t have an artistic imp inside. At least, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t.
Nap Hill Jolly Pals – Sacharissa almost worked on a story about them.
Obscurograph – Designed by Otto Chriek. Will take pictures, like an iconograph, but will use true darkness instead of light.
Slab – Ammonium chloride cut with radium. Drug used by trolls. Jus’ say ‘AarrghaarrghpleeassennononoUGH’.
Twurp’s Peerage – A proper book that Magrat was fed up with the type of. Vimes considered it the guide to the criminal classes.
Uberwaldean Deep Land Eel – When startled, emits a burst of dark light. (Dark: adjective. Light: noun.)
Watson’s Red Roasted Snuff – Clears the mind a treat.
