Abbatoirs Lane – Has Meeting Rooms where Otto Chriek and similar conduct a support group.
Actors’ Guild – Joined by Charlie (Vetinari look-alike).
Agatean Empire – Found on the Counterweight Continent which is diametrically opposite Ankh-Morpork on the Disc.
Al Khali – Very dry home of Seriph Creosote and his Rhoxie.
Alchemists’ Guild – It’s around here somewhere, continually being rebuilt.
Ankh (River) – That which divides Ankh the city from Morpork. You can usually walk on the surface of the Ankh, even if you’re not a deity.
Ankh-Morpork – The largest city on the Disc where much of the action in the Discworld series takes place. Ruled by the Patrician. Home of Unseen University.
Architects’ Guild – Awards prizes for “innovative” (for a given value of innovation) building design.
Assassins’ Guild – Headquarters for the members of the Assassins’ Guild in Ankh-Morpork. Best not to know its exact location.
Bad Schüschein – Where the first Glass Clock was built. (Simply called Schüschein in The Truth.)
Beggars’ Guild – Building in Ankh-Morpork where the Beggars’ Guild has its headquarters.
Bhangbhangduc – Island that is part of the Agatean Empire.
Biers – Formerly, the Crown and Axe. Tavern where you can be yourself, whatever shape that may be. Mrs Gammage also frequents here.
Bioalchemic Products – Produced the Disorganizer Mk II (and possibly earlier versions).
Broad Way – One of Ankh-Morpork’s busiest streets. Intersects the Street of Small Gods.
Broken Drum / Mended Drum – A popular tavern (for fights, etc.) in Ankh-Morpork.
Bucket, The – Owned by Mr Cheese, on Gleam Street.
Bugarup University (BU) – Fourecks equivalent of Ankh-Morpork’s Unseen University for wizards.
Cockbill Street – Where Sam Vimes grew up. Poorest part of Ankh-Morpork.
Conjurors’ Guild – Their motto is NVNC ILLE EST MAGICVS, which is about all you need to know.
Copperhead Mountain – Major peak in Lancre.
Creek Alley – Location of Hobson’s Livery Stable. (Is it kreeek or krick?)
Dagon Street – Location of Mr Hong’s Three Jolly Luck Fish Bar.
Dolly Sisters – Neighborhood now absorbed by Ankh-Morpork. Has a Watch House.
Dungeon Dimensions – Where all the demons (and much worse) live.
Elm Street – Ankh-Morpork. Has a mortuary.
Engravers’ and Printers’ Guild – In Ankh-Morpork. Some of the best members could engrave their name and address on a pinhead.
Ephebe – Located across the Djel (or Djelibeybi, if you prefer) from Tsort. Home of philosophers.
Exotic Dancers’ Guild – Aka Guild of Ecdysiasts, Nautchers, Cancanieres and Exponents of Exotic Dance. Miss Dixie “VaVa” Voom is president.
Filigree Street – Forms a T with Short Street at the latter’s turnwise end. The Broken / Mended Drum is located at this intersection.
Five and Seven Yard – Area in Ankh-Morpork with a shop that has shaving mirrors that Vimes likes, among other things.
Furby’s Castle of Cabbage – You can get 25% off happy hour prices there if you have a voucher.
Genua – Main setting of Witches Abroad. Sounds like Genoa. Feels like New Orleans.
Gleam Street – Location of The Bucket pub.
Guild of Lawyers – Eh, why not? The president is Mr Slant.
Guild of Thieves, Cutpurses, Housebreakers and Allied Trades – An organization, first encountered in Equal Rites, perhaps known later as simply the Guild of Thieves or Thieves’ Guild.
Gunilla Goodmountain & Co. – Printing outfit located on Treacle Mine Road near The Bucket.
H. Hogland and Son – Jewellry store in Nonesuch Street.
Harga’s House of Ribs – An eatery down by the docks in Ankh-Morpork. Death once occupied its kitchen.
Hide Park – Scene of the free concert given by The Band with Rocks In.
Hobson’s Livery Stable – Get your used horses here.
Holy Wood – Where dreams become reality. Unfortunately.
Howondaland – A place of steaming forests where Hrun the Barbarian has done some of his best work.
Hub Gate – An Ankh-Morporkian gate closest to the Hub; that is, the center of the Disc.
Hugglestones – Attended by William de Worde. He still turned out okay.
Isles of Fog – Location unknown. Apparently good to visit if you need to get away from it all.
Kicklebury Street – William Wittles lives there.
Klatch – Land of deserts and some jungles. Also the source of the phrase, “Pardon my Klatchian.” The country of Klatch is on the continent of Klatch.
Lancre – A small kingdom in the Ramtops. Home of Nanny Ogg and several other witches and wizards.
Launderers’ Guild – Mrs. Manger is the president.
Le Poil du Chien – Translated from Quirmian: The hair of the dog. A doggie beauty salon visited by Gaspode.
Llamedos – Pllace from which Imp y Celyn hailed. (Nasty when read backwards.)
Lobbin Clout – Hosts a street market on Octedays. Also known for its Pin Market.
Long Hogmeat – In the slaughterhouse district of Ankh-Morpork.
Martlebury Street – Home of Josia Wintler (45).
Misbegot Bridge – Over the place where the Canting Crew usually gathers.
Mouldavia – Formerly part of Uberwald. Mr. Pin and Mr. Tulip seem to have had warrants for their arrest there. At least, there were posters with their pictures on.
Mrs. Eucrasia Arcanum’s Lodging House for Respectable Working Men – Located in Mincing Street. Most notable resident: William de Worde.
Muntab, Theocracy of – It’s calendar counts down instead of up.
Museum of Antiquities – A favorite haunt of Mr. Tulip. He was a real connoisseur of the arts.
Nap Hill – Ankh-Morpork center of textile, weaving, and clothing industries.
Nonesuch Street – It can be confusing to give direction to this street.
Oblong Office – The main room of the Patrician in the Palace. Definitely not the same as the Oval Office.
Omnia – A very (sorta) religious country on the coast of the continent of Klatch.
Park Lane – Where the Park Lane Knobbler was caught.
Patrician’s Palace – Ankh-Morpork. Theoretically the most important building in the city.
Phedre Road – Has tanneries, brick kilns, and timber yards.
Prattle Alley – Home of Arthur Crank. May not have buildings tall enough for him not to jump off of.
Pseudopolis – A major city on the Disc. In The Colour of Magic, Death is headed there because of the white plague striking the city. Home of Eric.
Pseudopolis Yard – Ankh-Morpork, not Pseudopolis. A circular street located at the city’s center. The Opera House and City Watch are on it.
Quirm – A city near Ankh-Morpork, not to be confused with Chirm. Probably.
Ramtop Mountains – One of the main mountain ranges Hubward.
Scours, The – Street in Ankh-Morpork. Location of Chalkies.
Shades, The – A section of Ankh-Morpork that is darker (in more ways than one) than it sounds.
Shoemakers’ and Leatherworkers’ Guild – Includes the Cobblers. Tuttle Scrope is its president.
Sidney Clancy and Son – In Long Hogmeat, Purveyors of Finest Cat and Dog Meats to the Gentry.
Sto Plains – Area in which the cities of Sto Lat, Sto Helit, and Ankh-Morpork are located.
Street of Cunning Artificers, The – Ankh-Morpork. Contains just what you think. Only moreso.
Street of Small Gods – Ankh-Morpork. Runs from the Plaza of the Broken Moons to Short Street. Contains temples you’d expect.
Temple of Offler – Housed, among other things, a jeweled disembowelling knife.
Temple of Om – In Ankh-Morpork in the Street of Small Gods, even though Om wasn’t always that small.
Thaumatological Park – Near UU, in the Unreal Estate.
Three Jolly Luck Take-Away Fish Bar – Built on the site of the old temple in Dagon Street on the night of the Winter Solstice which also featured a full moon. Yeah, that place.
Tower of Art – The oldest and tallest building on the Disc. Part of Unseen University. Very magical. Not necessarily artful.
Town Criers’ Guild – Negatively affected by the birth of the Ankh-Morpork Times.
Treacle Mine Road – Ankh-Morpork. Just off Elm Street.
Überwald – Home to many werewolf, vampires, Igors, and other races. Homeland of Angua and Cheery.
Unseen University – The home of the Disc’s wizards, a very magical place where magic is almost never used, and for good reason. Known as UU, for short. Sometimes misspelled, Unesene.
Watch House (Dolly Sisters) – Referred to in Feet of Clay, The Truth, and more. May have been torched in the Glorious Revolution.
Watch House (Pseudopolis Yard) – Location of Captain / Commander Vimes’ crew.
Watchmakers’ Guild – Probably related to the Clockmakers’ Guild.
Water Gate – Controls the hubward entrance of the River Ankh into the city of Ankh-Morpork. (Has nothing to do with the hotel on the roundworld.)
Welcome Soap – Arthur Crank wasn’t about to jump from a tall building in this street.
Wixon’s Alley – Location of a candlemaker’s shop over which was a little room that served as Captain Vimes’ home, when he wasn’t at work. So, virtually never. Also where widow Maroon lives.
XXXX (Fourecks) – Fabled hidden continent, mate. Terror Incognita. EcksEcksEcksEcks.
