Hrun…there be oour kinda hero!
Hrun’s three Tests aren’t as well known (yet) as the three questions asked by the Bridgekeeper in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
To refresh your memory, there are those three questions.
1) What is your name?
2) What is your quest?
3a) What is your favorite color? (He probably said, “colour”.)
3b) What is the capital of Assyria?
3c) What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
4) African or European swallow?

Hrun’s tests, presented by Liessa, probably aren’t as quotable either, but here they are.
1) Apparently, preventing himself from being murdered in his sleep (by Liessa).
2) Killing, or at least causing the banishment of, Liessa’s two brothers.
3) Conquering a willing-to-be conquered Liessa.
The first test was tricky and took a little skill, but Hrun didn’t break a sweat while doing it.
The second took the most effort. Hrun was scorched by a dragon in the process. He also got a (re-)broken nose.
The third was a piece of cake with a cherry on top, even though Twoflower and Rincewind almost messed it up. It would seem Hrun had his cake and got to eat it too. The last we know of him, he was kissing Liessa while atop her dragon.
Fare thee well, Hrun!
Meanwhile, Rincewind, Twoflower, and The Luggage, after a brief flight aboard a TWA plane (in our world), are now plunging into the Circle Sea (in theirs) in preparation for the next chapter of The Colour of Magic.
