Abba Stronginthearm – Dwarf added to the Watch.
Albrecht Albrechtson – A Deep-Downer dwarf who is an expert regarding the Scone of Stone, in particular, how original it isn’t.
All Jolson – Awesome chef on Broad Way and equally awesome eater.
Andrei von Uberwald – Angua’s brother.
Asshole – Sorry, but that’s the wolf’s name.
Aunt Hilda – Angua’s aunt.
B’hrian Bloodaxe – Famed for his Battle Bread used at the Battle of Koom Valley.
Baron Guye von Uberwald – Aka Silvertail. Father of Angua.
Bigger-than-Small-Dave Dave – Apparent criminal Vimes was chasing along Peach Pie Street when he fell off a ledge and saw Death.
Bishop Horn – Main character in all the great flood accounts bore a resemblance to him.
Bluejohn – Troll conscripted for the Watch.
Boulder der Lintel – According to Detritus, Boulder did the same thing with his bag of gravel that Detritus would do with Vimes’ order (that Vimes didn’t really want him to obey).
Captain / Corporal Carrot Ironfoundersson – Member of the Night Watch. Adopted dwarf. Possibly king of Ankh-Morpork. Later promoted to Captain.
Captain Samuel Vimes – Head of the Ankh-Morpork Night Watch. Recovering alcoholic. Eventual spouse of Lady Ramkin and Commander of the Watch.
Captain Tantony – Watchman in Bonk. He and Vimes help each other.
Chalky – Troll who ran an all-night pottery, a wholesale building supply, and a print shop.
Coalface – Troll who “never took nuffin.”
Constable Buggy Swires – Gnome in the Airborne Section of the Watch.
Constable Chert – Clamped All Jolson’s cart. (I’m considering this Chert to be different from the Chert mentioned elsewhere.)
Constable Downspout – Gargoyle member of the Watch.
Constable Flint – Troll who worked in the armory. Now on the Watch.
Constable Hacknee – Had Views on what watchmen should be paid.
Constable Ping – Discovered that the Scone of Stone was missing from the museum.
Constable Visit-The-Infidel-With-Explanatory-Pamphlets – Call him Visit or Washpot, for short.
Corporal Cheery Littlebottom (Cheri) – Alchemist, female dwarf in the Watch.
Corporal Cecil Wormsborough St. John “Nobby” Nobbs – Member of the Night Watch. Species: human. Probably.
Corporal Svetlz – Watchman under orders from Tantony in Bonk.
Crunchie Ron – Everyone (except Done It Duncan) says he did the job at the goldsmith’s.
Cumbling Michael – Beggar who (unnecessarily) admits the death of Lettice Knibbs.
Dame Venting – Ran a school that Vimes attended as a boy. He became Blackboard Monitor under her watch.
Death – An anthrpomorphic personification comprised of a skeleton, covered in a black robe, and holding a scythe (or a sword, for kings). He communicates in CAPTIAL LETTERS without the quotation marks.
Dee – Ideas-Taster to the Low King of the dwarfs. She became friends with Cheery.
Delphine Angua von Uberwald – First werewolf and female in the Watch. Very close friend of Carrot.
Detritus – A troll who eventually becomes a leading member of the Watch.
Don’t Know Jack – Pinched some silver in Sto Lat. The Clacks caught up with him.
Done It Duncan – Claims to have done every crime in Ankh-Morpork.
Dorfl – Golem in Long Hogmeat. Eventually given a voice and made a constable of the Watch. Helps other golems own themselves.
Dozy Longfinger – Former Captain of the Candles vis a vis the Scone of Stone.
Dr Thaumic – Worked on the other side of the mountain from Bonk. Had an Igor, of course.
(Rufus) Drumknott – Lord Vetinari’s servant.
Eats Wrong Meat – Wolf defeated (not killed) by Carrot.
Eerie – A rabbit with many ears – and multiple other extra parts.
Elsa von Uberwald – Angua’s sister.
Eustace Bassingly-Gore, The Honorable – Assassin who failed to kill Vimes. Vimes dispatched him to Ghat.
Foul Ole Ron – Beggar who saw Angua in the nudd. “Millennium hand and shrimp!”
Gaspode the Wonder Dog – An amazing canine who could talk (temporarily) in Holy Wood. Also a friend of Angua.
Gavin – Wolf who befriends Angua and Carrot but is killed by Wolfgang.
Gilbert Gilbert – Apparently an informant who always seems to know what’s going on.
Gimlet Gimlet – Owns the Hole Food Delicatessen.
Great A’Tuin – He or she is the turtle who moves through space in the Discworld universe. On his or her back are 4 elephants. On the backs of the elephants rests the Disc itself.
Harry “The Boltcutter” Weems – May have been in a fight with Vimes – either him or someone with a name like that.
Hrolf Thighbiter – Asked Cheery out on a date.
Igor (Bonk embassy) – Ran the Ankh-Morporkian embassy in Bonk. The building used to belong to the Count von Uberwald.
Igor (Margolotta’s) – Servant of Lady Margolotta in Bonk.
Igor (Serafine’s) – Serves all the Baron’s family but especially commanded by Serafine.
Igor (Young) – A pioneer who doesn’t fit in in Uberwald. Goes to Ankh-Morpork to join the Watch.
Inigo Skimmer – Assassin assigned to protect Vimes in Uberwald. Defeated by Wolfgang. Mhm, mhm.
Irina – One of three sisters who helped Vimes with clothing while he was on the run from Wolfgang.
Josiah Frument – With his Sons, were Seed Merchants (pigeon feed).
Lady Margolotta – A leading vampire of Bonk in Uberwald.
Lady Sybil Deidre Oglivanna Ramkin – Caretaker of swamp dragons and eventual spouse of Commander Vimes. Richest person in Ankh-Morpork.
Leonard of Quirm – Painter, inventor. (Think, da Vinci.)
Lord Robert Selachii – An assassin. Member of a prominent family in Ankh-Morpork.
Lord Rust – Aristocrat not interested in Edward d’Eath’s plot.
Marquis de Fantailler – Creator of a list of rules for pugilism. It wasn’t a very good list if you wanted to win.
Miss Prodzky – Could use Igor’s hip joints.
Mme Serafine Soxe-Bloomberg – Aka Yellowfang. Mother of Angua.
Mr Crapancy – Assume spelling is correct. Originally Crapanthy from Igor. Igor had his kidneys available, following the avalanche.
Mrs Colon – Wife of Sgt. Colon of the Night Watch. Works days.
Mrs Content – Possible midwife who tells Sybil Ramkin she and Sam will have a baby.
Nancy – Werewolf in Wolfgang’s pack.
Nervous Nigel – Carrot threatened to use him to track Angua instead of Gaspode. Gaspode objected.
No Way José – Named as a witness to a boat theft.
Om – From which Omnia takes its name. Traveled in the form of a tortoise in Brutha’s time.
Oolites – A nasty, but sleepy, people.
Ossory – A Great Prophet often quoted by Brutha. Wrote the Book of St Ossory.
Patrician of Ankh – The leader of the city of Ankh-Morpork. You know him cordially as Havelock Vetinari.
Posh Wally – For some reason, he was flashing around a lot of money, per Hacknee.
Reg Shoe – Undead head of the Fresh Start Club. Also a constable of the Watch.
Rhys Rhysson – He (actually, she) is the Low King of the dwarfs.
Richard Liddeley, Sir – Apparently attempted to assassinate Vimes. Was found in Sator Square painted pink and with a flag stuck…somewhere.
Rodney (aka Ronald?) – Iconograph imp responsible for catching speeders on the Brass Bridge.
Sergeant Edge – Sto Lat Watchman. Sent the Clacks that caught Don’t Know Jack.
Sergeant Frederick (Fred) Colon – Mainly of the Night Watch. Likes to stay out of trouble – especially other peoples’.
Snorey – Cheery’s brother. A knockerman who died in an explosion somewhere under Borogravia.
Suffer-Not-Injustice Vimes – Known as Old Stoneface. Killed the last king of Ankh-Morpork. Ancestor of Commander Samuel Vimes.
Tooth Fairy – According to Granny, a “very hard-working woman.” Actually, one of several with the same job.
Uncle Ulf – Angua’s uncle.
Uncle Vanya – Former owner of the clothing given to Vimes by the three sisters.
Unity – Werewolf in Wolfgang’s pack.
Wallace Sonky – Manufactured products – of all sorts, but especially one kind (known as Sonkies) – made of rubber.
Wando Sleeps – Resident (ambassador) of the Ankh-Morporkian embassy in Bonk who has gone missing, according to Igor.
Washable Topsy – Informant who worked in the Assassins’ Guild laundry.
Wilhelmina – Messenger pigeon of Sergeant Angua’s.
Willikins – Butler of Lady Ramkin.
Wolfgang von Uberwald – Angua’s mostly insane brother.
Wussie Staid – Janitor at the Assassins’ Guild who owed Stronginthearm a favor.
Zebedinah – Messenger pigeon from Constable Shoe.
