Assassins’ Guild – Headquarters for the members of the Assassins’ Guild in Ankh-Morpork. Best not to know its exact location.
Discworld – First mentioned in Equal Rites, this is the place where it all hits the…er…takes place.
Unseen University – The home of the Disc’s wizards, a very magical place where magic is almost never used, and for good reason. Known as UU, for short. Sometimes misspelled, Unesene.
Ankh-Morpork – The largest city on the Disc where much of the action in the Discworld series takes place. Ruled by the Patrician. Home of Unseen University.
Guild of Thieves, Cutpurses, Housebreakers and Allied Trades – An organization, first encountered in Equal Rites, perhaps known later as simply the Guild of Thieves or Thieves’ Guild.
Sator Square – The area just outside Unseen University often occupied by many merchants.
Unreal Estate – Located near Unseen University, this land has been a dumping ground for the UU wizards for many centuries. Accordingly, the land is, at best, unstable – thaumatologically, not geologically.
Short Street – One of the longest streets in Ankh-Morpork.
Biers – Formerly, the Crown and Axe. Tavern where you can be yourself, whatever shape that may be. Mrs Gammage also frequents here.
Gleam Street – Location of The Bucket pub.
Crumley’s Department Store – Located in The Maul, where Death / Hogfather greeted children one Hogswatch. Run by Vernon Crumley.
Maul, The – A wide boulevard in Ankh-Morpork where you’ll find some of its largest shops.
Krull – An island nation that leans out over the Rim of the Disc.
Quirm – A city near Ankh-Morpork, not to be confused with Chirm. Probably.
Howondaland – A place of steaming forests where Hrun the Barbarian has done some of his best work.
Agatean Empire – Found on the Counterweight Continent which is diametrically opposite Ankh-Morpork on the Disc.
Edgeway Road – Where precocious Aaron Fidget lives.
Sto Plains – Area in which the cities of Sto Lat, Sto Helit, and Ankh-Morpork are located.
Ramtop Mountains – One of the main mountain ranges Hubward.
Castle of Bones – The place (dimension, really) where Hogfather (the real one, not Death) resides.
Shades, The – A section of Ankh-Morpork that is darker (in more ways than one) than it sounds.
Watch House (Pseudopolis Yard) – Location of Captain / Commander Vimes’ crew.
Omnia – A very (sorta) religious country on the coast of the continent of Klatch.
Dunmanifestin – The home of the major gods, those with too many followers to be included in the Temple of Small Gods. Located atop Cori Celesti at the Hub of the Disc.
Old Cobblers – Street from whence the Nobbs clan hails.
Thimble’s Pipe and Tobacco Shop – Located in Money Trap Lane. The Tooth Fairy holds the deed to the shop.
Money Trap Lane – Location of Thimble’s, Sara the matchstick girl, and (formerly) Snowy Slopes.
Treacle Mine Road – Ankh-Morpork. Just off Elm Street.
Sumtri – An island where the pencil bush was discovered. Ruled by Queen Sowawondra and Queen Zazumba – at different times.
Shamlegger Street – In the Shades near Rookery Yard and Treacle Mine Road.
Kicklebury Street – William Wittles lives there.
Hippo, The – A lozenge-shaped road. The area is known to host sporting events.
Park Lane – Where the Park Lane Knobbler was caught.
Laughing Falafel, Klatchistan Take-Away and All Nite Grocery, The – Convenience store on The Soake in Ankh-Morpork.
Klatchistan – Desert land on the continent of Klatch.
Soake, The – Nuhakme Icta lives there.
Dimwell Street – In central Ankh. Has a sawmill.
Young Men’s Pagan Association – YMPA; has youths with studded collars and oiled muscles.
Scrote – One-horse town in the Sto Plains where The Band with Rocks In once played.
Counterweight Continent – A land mass made largely of octiron so as to counter-balance the larger land mass on which Ankh-Morpork exists.
Castle View – Street where Thomas Ague lived in Sto Lat. He lost at least one tooth there.
Sto Lat – A small city in the Sto Plains, first mentioned in passing in Equal Rites. Home of King Olerve and Princess Keli.
Hall of Murgle – Had a fabulous lock that could only be opened by the Hubward wind.
Dratley and Sons – Furniture (think, wardrobe) maker in Phedre Road.
Phedre Road – Has tanneries, brick kilns, and timber yards.
Genua – Main setting of Witches Abroad. Sounds like Genoa. Feels like New Orleans.
Ankh (River) – That which divides Ankh the city from Morpork. You can usually walk on the surface of the Ankh, even if you’re not a deity.
